About the presenter:

As Innovation Lab Director at The Prosperity Agenda, Alicia supports the lab's development of new and growing projects. Her prior work was as Policy Analyst with the Government Affairs team at Prosperity Now (formerly known as CFED), promoting effective policies that expand economic opportunity for all, particularly in regard to savings, credit building, financial coaching, and integrated service delivery.

Alicia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master in Public Policy from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. She was Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Assets and Social Policy, working exclusively on the Leveraging Mobility Project. She also co-authored the report “Employment Capital: How Work Builds and Protects Family Wealth and Security,” which highlights the importance of quality work-based policies for low- and moderate-income workers in preserving and growing assets overtime.

Out of the office, you can find Alicia cooking up new recipes, or reflecting on her 2,200 mile biking trip from Maine to New Orleans!
